The property was valued at the asking price and I could not have imagined a better service. seeing that they do a mortgage valuation on average every 25 seconds (their website) it's no wonder the small percentage of people that are undervalued will seem like alot of complaints. My advise, don't let the reviews put you off.

Jun 21, 2013 · I have worked as a Surveyor and previously as head of complaints against surveyors for one of the largest mortgage lenders in the UK. For your information LSL are the holding company and eserv is part of them. Woolwich is the mortgage brand name for Barclays. They had their own surveyors "Ekins" which they sold to LSL - esurv.

I too have suffered a massive undervaluation by this company. However their complaints system is a farce and is designed to be unhelpful and obstructive. I have requested a copy of the surveyors report under the Data Protection Act but they have refused to release it, quoting client confidentiality.
