SCCY advertises nine-pound trigger pulls for these guns, so maybe I got lucky. The pistol does have second-strike capability and an inertial firing pin safety. Aug 28, 2019 · I had a sccy cpx-1, and I agree that the trigger pull is not good. Mine felt more like a 15+ lb break, and was longer than a country mile. The reset was also atrocious and non existent as it literally resets when you allow the trigger to let all the way out.

Sccy ships each of their CPX-1 handguns with a lifetime, “no-questions asked” warranty; if the weapon is damaged or lost for any reason, Sccy will replace the firearm. In my opinion this is an absolutely huge factor for the target market for this handgun.
