2006 Subaru Baja Sport Power steering belt needs to be tightened regularly. Otherwise it is a great car, runs smoothly and the all-wheel drive is great. Having a bed is really nice, the overall size of the vehicle is very practical, it can fit in compact spaces, which is easier than a big truck.

2003 Subaru Baja Base Our Baja is a 5 speed so it is really fun to drive. It gets decent gas mileage. About consistently 25 miles to the gallon. We recently put a used canopy on it which brought the mileage down 2 to 3 miles a gallon. Parts are getting a little hard to find but so far so good. We have done all the required maintenance for it.

The Baja Experience — i test drove this car about a year ago, it was a fun car to drive. Like all subaru's, it's built solid. my mother is now on her fifth, so I know subaru's pretty well now. it's pretty spacious for a pick-up, the turbo-charged engine makes it all the more awesome, and it has a sunroof.Ratings: 6

The contact owns a 2003 Subaru Baja. The contact stated that while turning at 2 mph, a noise was heard coming from the rear passenger side. The vehicle was maneuvered to the shoulder and the contact smelled a burning odor. Upon examining the vehicle, the contact also noticed that the rear passenger tire was rubbing onto the wheel well and melting.10/10
