The swift cover approved repair centre is not approved by Nissan. I then took my vehicle to an approved Nissan repair centre, which the insurance company AXA agreed to my claim. But Swift cover would not supply a curtesy vehicle as I have not used their approved repair centre. Which is not approved by Nissan, so it is a non approved repair centre.

May 31, 2019 · The approved repairer excess clause has been in insurance policies for years and years. That's why I try to avoid such policies. Luckily with my premiums, those that allow me to use main dealer body shops with no additional excess are never that much more expensive.

Aug 04, 2011 · I'm not sure on this one, but I would hope that since any work on your car by a non-approved dealer could invalidate the warranty, Swiftcover might be persuaded to be reasonable. You could try speaking to the AA or RAC and see what they think, or even speaking to the FOS since they deal with complaints about insurance.

AVOID!! This company has turned my husbands life upside down, he has been on the phone to them constantly the past 7 months for them to turn around now and say that the other person has denied the claim against them. 7 months and £700 excess out of pocket over something that should have been sorted within weeks. they failed to get the cctv footage available and have done NOTHING to help him.

My boyfriend was with swiftcover for two years and i must say, their customer service was awesome, and call centres overseas with overseas people on the phone lines so sometimes it was easy to communicate. moreover their complaints team were excellent.
