I own three Calton cases (one from the UK and two from Canada). I find my Canadian Calton cases to possess better fit and finish than the UK case but both are great products. I've always loved the Calton case and only recently got a dose of their miserable and deceptive communication (or lack thereof).

Nov 29, 2015 · Unfortunately there are several years of Calton mandolin cases out there. Some had a misplaced rivet that was a problem for headstocks but that was resolved or so we've been told. I believe the OP is looking for the size of the outside in comparison to others. I only have one Calton circa 2006 so I can't offer a picture of both next to each other.
