Feb 05, 2018 · The Ombudsman said it was an Openreach issue and they only dealt with complaints for ISP's, so try my MP. My MP raised a complaint to BT Executive Level Technical Complaints team and they basically said Openreach wouldn't change or upgrade the cable unless it was hard down/beyond repair and referred us to the deadlock letter.

I got a call like this today, the call came from 01959 564737. Indian sounding man who claimed to be from BT OPENREACH saying their engineer had detected slow internet speeds from my property. He put the phone down when I challenged his credentials, and when I pointed out I was not a BT customer he got very aggressive. Pretty sure this was a scam.
