May 02, 2003 · I'm currently happy with the support I've received from Optus but on one occasion it was wearing thin. My Optus cable phone became noisey and dropped out 4 times at 15min point while waiting for the service dept phone to answer. At the time there was a recorded message about the long que and to expect a 20min wait.

Apr 03, 2014 · My Telstra cable is not rock solid and I am in a congested area - Alderley QLD doesn't even have a phone exchange so everyone would either be on Optus or Telstra cable, and my guess is nearly everybody chooses Telstra cable. Signal levels remain fine but it gets lossy and laggy in the afternoon, and the netgear modem is utter shit.
